LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS

Learning happens everywhere.  Student outcomes increase not only when  space fosters meaningful Student-Student  and Student-Teacher/Instructor experiences, but when it reaches further and engages family and the surrounding community into the learning process.

RGU focuses on creating space that promotes active learning.  We believe educational facilities act as the heart of all communities.  They have the power to increase equity and overcome achievement gaps.

Space throughout a school/campus should be layered and offer diversity.  Space is a tool for Instructors/Teachers and should be designed in away that encourages them to engage in new pedagogical methodologies.

The importance of flexibility and adaptability can not be overstated.  Creating a facility that is designed to flex and bend around different instruction modes is important to maximizing space utilization and keeping capital costs in check.
