Project Description:
This project consisted
of constructing a new Parent Child Facility, which was completed in 2003 by
the College’s Carpentry Program. The facility incorporates a child oriented
entry/receptionist/waiting Area, two (2) classrooms, instructor’s office,
family observation room, restrooms, support areas, and a large outdoor
playground facility. Design is based on the historical Queen Anne
Architectural Style to create a family oriented facility. This is
accomplished by window placement, exterior expression of interior spaces,
and use of building material/finishes.
